Brea is a 30 year old, Black, nonbinary, queer, disabled and chronically ill community organizer of 10 years who is located in South Sacramento, California.

Founder's Garden
This is a little gallery to showcase Brea's personal container garden to give you an idea of the numerous possibilities of what you can grow in your Sacramento garden, even if you do NOT have in-ground space or just limited space in general!
Brea really hopes this gallery can encourage and motivate those who are interested in and new to food growing, especially marginalized folx like themselves (i.e. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, chronically ill, etc.) - to consider growing food for themselves and in the future - community.
Late Spring to early Fall of 2026 were their FIRST food growing seasons but just look at what they were able to grow with still plenty of room for growth, so just imagine what you can grow too, even if you're new to food growing!
Food growing does NOT just mean survival and feeding the community to them, but it is also personal and ancestral, so it's a BIG passion and hobby of theirs and consumes a lot of their time.
